Michael has 30 years experience assisting portfolio managers. He began his practice in 1976 with a regional municipal broker dealer as an account executive. A career move to Union Planters bond department in 1981 reinforced his ability to service his customers. In 1991,  Vining Sparks assumed the management of the UP Investment Banking Group, where Michael became a valued member of the Vining team. Presently associated with the Premium Strategies Group of Vining Sparks as a Senior Vice President, Michael offers his clients years of investment experience coupled with the most innovative services offered in the industry. His clients are national as well as diverse in their structure. Services offered include, but are not limited to: Bond accounting, performance reviews, superior analytics, monthly reports, new issue underwriting and secondary markets and capital markets services. Michael is a graduate of the University of Memphis where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Education with minors in History and Political Science.  He and his wife Diane have five (5) daughters. They reside in Memphis where they both are active in their community.
